Krabi#1 Phi Phi Island

GoGoGo KRABI & PHI PHI!!!
A great start for year 2011 ~~
Well, let's get tanned!

We bought tickets from the airport counters for a private van (can fit 12pax) from Krabi Airport to Krabi pier for 600baht and the ferry ticket from pier to Phi Phi Island which costs 340baht per pax. We thought the price was reasonable after some haggling.

Half way to the pier, the van driver dropped us at an agent sales office. From there we bought the return ferry tickets for only 300baht per pax. Wow, we were just in time for the 3pm ferry! (after half an hour van ride.) Alas, we were left waiting inside the ferry for 1 hour before the engine runs =.= then another 1 1/2 hours of ferry ride.. long delay & not comfy seats for more expensive price. For our return ferry from PP to Krabi (for 300baht), we get on time service and good seats, from Chao Koh Group ferry operator.

Still what is there to complain when u reach PP Island... it was worth the ride!!

Arriving @ PP with beloved family, Uncle Boon & Verna, Ricky & Christie, Peter & Angie... Garry & (Shennice MIA) ^^

Along the pier, there are many hotel staff carrying their hotel nameboards. They will lead you right to their doorstep! So you won't get lost in the island searching for the hotel!

The forms of transport in the island: foot and bicycle. Yay, more freshhh air...

We saw this flower outside our hotel, 'Flower of Hawaii'
Truly beautiful~~

This is the hotel we booked from agoda.com, PP Casita Hotel$$. Located at Loh Dalum beach, it has individual bungalow rooms. Although the rooms are small, it is lovely with serene surroundings for 2000baht a night. Perfect for couples :) Garry has to stay in a hostel opposite as the hotel won't allow extra bed in the bungalow (p/s cause there's no space for extra bed..)
Our first dinner @ Tom Yam Restaurant$. Food taste good and not too spicy, only that it comes in small portion. Cannot get enough of tom yam! YUMS!

PP colours at night~~ many bars and restaurants along the small streets of PP..

There are many pubs along Lo Dalum beach side, many offer interesting fire shows. Relaxxx.....
